Planning

On the basis of general market requirements and specific customer needs, Acos makes an annual plan of its own needs in terms of products, quality levels and volumes. This means that each production site is able to schedule its agricultural production (land cultivated, species and varieties planted, cultivation techniques), product processing (cleaning, selection, packaging) and logistics (type of delivery, shipment scheduling). There is a constant flow of information between the headquarters and the production sites regarding the state of the agricultural season, customer requests and the market situation.

Management System - Pulsar

The GSN Management System, called Pulsar, facilitates supply chain control. This computerised system, developed by Acos, makes complete supply management possible, from the customer's request for an offer to the delivery of the goods.
The GSN Management system, accessible from anywhere in the world by means of a simple Internet connection, means that the containers can be tracked along the entire supply chain (shipment, navigation, customs clearance, delivery). It is a flexible platform onto which new modules can be implemented in relationship to business development.

Logistics

Acos's global supply network is supported by the logistics division, which deals with preferential agreements with the navigation companies, shippers and road-transport companies.

Training

The members of the Italian quality team periodically visit and check the plants, where they also train management and personnel, in order to verify compliance with Acos standards and, at the same time, to continue improving organisation, production processes and the offer itself. Training courses are held regularly at the headquarters as well as at the various Acos production sites.

Organic certification

For organic-product certification, ACOS uses bodies internationally recognised for their credibility and reliability. Controls of the organic products are particularly stringent, in order to guarantee that there are absolutely no traces of pesticides.
